We have very recently built a home in Cowaramup with Cape Constructions.  From the very get go, we found them to be so very easy to deal with and a lovely “family” attitude throughout the build.

​

There are terrible stories to be told of relationships people have had with their builder but we can certainly put anybody’s mind at ease in saying that this is not the case with Charles, Greg and their team of excellent tradesmen.  From the initial meeting and planning stage, we had the pleasure of dealing with Dave in the office, such a lovely, helpful man and Vanessa who takes care of the finances; nothing is too hard for these people.

​

No problem was ever too big for Cape Constructions to deal with, should we change our mind about something, they did all that was humanly possible to make it happen.  Mid-way through our build, we had a family health issue that would put us out of operation for a few weeks and we can’t thank them enough for giving us the support and taking the reins for us for this period of time.

​

Along the way we had the pleasure of meeting all of their trades people on site and each and every one of them were as pleasant to deal with as the company itself.  We found them all extremely helpful as far as suggesting better ideas or instructing us how they were going to go about their relevant jobs.

We now have the finished product and it is truly beautiful and a credit to Cape Constructions.  The house is finished to an extremely high standard and we invite anyone who would like to view our home or to chat with us personally to assist them in making such a big decision when choosing a builder, please do so through Charles.

We remember well, our first meeting with you on our property. Half finished plans and a building site which to us had a number of significant and inherent problems - clay, granite boulders and lots of steep slopes, to mention a few. From memory your words were “nothing that we can’t handle without too much trouble”.

 

We were very impressed with your honest and professional approach. We asked for a quote/ estimate cost to build, and were very happy with the numbers and detail that you provided - we did not bother with other builders - we took you on trust - and what a great decision that turned out to be.

 

From that moment all our worries were over - shire/building approvals, working drawings etc. all happened with absolutely minimal additional input and worry from us - it was a seamless process. From our perspective, a very easy process as a result of the input and guidance from you and

your team.

 

Nothing was too much trouble, if we requested a change, and it was possible and/or feasible, it was implemented with an absolute minimum of fuss - nothing at all was too much of a problem. As the building progressed, if you or your team thought that something could be improved, you immediately let us know, with reasons and explanations, and to our benefit, invariably we took your advice.

We contracted Cape Constructions to build an extension to our beach house on the coast

at Abbey near Busselton.

 

We selected Cape Construction after discussions with several local builders. We looked for local experience and a local presence, accessibility, financial stability and a recent track record in the area. We provided a detailed plan of the proposed extension, to which Charles made many suggestions as to features, colours, finish, etc. During the construction period, we enjoyed a very positive relationship with Charles and the team.

 

We were able to make suggestions and changes as the building progressed, and we were always pleased to receive suggestions from Charles and the team.

 

We were always able to access the site, and Charles responded positively to any queries or suggestions that we had. There were no issues in terms of quality of the work, site security or our access to the existing house.
